Exciting things are happening for us!
We were accepted into the Willamette Week’s Give Guide. If you don’t know, this is a special issue put out by Willamette Week that highlights a number of local non-profits and encourages giving to these wonderful organizations. One must apply to be a part of it and we were accepted! This means that starting Nov. 5th there will not only be a great deal of communication from us to encourage giving and draw attention to the work we do but there are also many exciting incentives and drawings to enter great prizes if you give more than $10 to Baby Blues Connection. Stand by for more information to come!
We’ve put together a collection of personal stories, which we’ll also be using to normalize the experiences of PPD/A during the Give Guide campaign. You can follow this link to read them.
We shot a video! Such an exciting Sunday afternoon it was and we can hardly wait to share it with you. Many thanks to Leonie Alaeddine, Lisa Coss, Donna Johnson and Julia Tafea McGillis for participating. Emily Chenoweth wrote all of the lines and they are amazing! We were extremely fortunate to have Stephanie Stern-Carlson to lead the participants through their lines, which were emotional at times and Bill Roberson to shoot and direct such a professional video. Forever indebted to you all!
And, this coming weekend we’re a part of Design Like Mad. This is big news for us because it may bring about a whole new look for Baby Blues Connection. Our logo, all outreach materials, the webpage– all of it is up for redesign. We’re excited to see what happens!
Stay tuned for weekly updates from Baby Blues Connection.
